FINANCE IN THE REAL WORLD
We work hard to build a life that feels secure, comfortable and meaningful. But as our income grows, our expectations often grow with it. A small upgrade here, a convenience there, and before long our lives have adjusted to consume whatever comes in. We earn more, but somehow the breathing room never arrives.
Where Did All The Money Go? isn't about restriction, strict budgets or giving up the things that make life enjoyable. It's an invitation to step back, look at the whole picture and understand what's really happening with your money.
How much you earn matters. What happens next matters just as much. This book helps you recognise the habits, beliefs and behaviours shaping your financial choices, create genuine breathing space, and make more deliberate decisions about what your money is for.
And perhaps finally answer the question:
With more than twenty years of experience across banking, finance and mortgage lending, Jaeneen Cunningham brings a depth of knowledge shaped by both institutional banking and business ownership.
Her career has included roles with prominent Australian financial institutions, from Premium Banking with a major retail bank to Corporate and Banking Services with Australia’s pre-eminent investment bank. Since 1998, she has also been a business owner in the finance industry, working alongside accountants, property lawyers and financial planners to help clients navigate increasingly complex financial decisions.
Over that time, Jaeneen has helped thousands of clients understand their options, make informed decisions and use finance more effectively to pursue their personal and financial goals.
Her work today extends beyond finding the right financial solution. It reflects a broader interest in financial capability, behavioural insight and helping people understand not simply what to do with money, but how to make better decisions around it.
Jaeneen is also a signatory to the Banking and Finance Oath, whose principles of integrity, trust and professional responsibility inform the way she advises, teaches and supports her clients.

Community Leadership &
Social Impact
Beyond her work in finance, Jaeneen Cunningham has a longstanding commitment to community wellbeing and supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse.
Since 2017, Jaeneen has worked with Safe Haven Community, a registered Australian charity supporting women leaving domestic abuse, where she now serves as Executive Director.
Her work with Safe Haven has reinforced her belief that financial capability is about more than managing money. It can build confidence, independence and choice - a perspective that continues to shape her approach to financial education and helping people gain greater agency over their lives.

Where Did All The Money Go? is not a book about restriction, strict budgeting, or giving up the things that make modern life enjoyable. It is an invitation to slow down and look at the whole picture.
Financial stability isn't determined by how much you earn; it’s determined by what happens next. This book will help you interrupt the automatic patterns running in the background of your life so you can create true breathing space, the kind that allows you to absorb surprises without fragility, make decisions without fear, and finally answer the question: Where Did All The Money Go?

Coaching, Strategy &Behavioural Expertise
Alongside a career in finance, Jaeneen has spent more than two decades working across coaching, consulting, strategic planning and public speaking. Her particular interest lies in the behaviours behind financial decisions — understanding what drives them, what gets in the way, and how better systems can create meaningful progress.
As a Licensed Credit Adviser, financial educator and money coach, she helps people move beyond simply knowing what they should do and towards practical strategies they can actually use.
Having built and operated businesses through changing economic conditions and personal challenges, Jaeneen brings a practical perspective to her work. She believes in understanding strengths, seeking good counsel and concentrating attention on the decisions and actions that make a genuine difference.
Whether working with individuals, speaking to an audience or helping an organisation strengthen financial capability, her focus remains the same: greater clarity, better decisions and a practical path towards financial confidence.
